Dashboards for the comprehensive management of the company
The project
Uvesco is a leading group in the mass consumer sector, which has more than 250 of its own supermarkets, 4 logistics platforms making up more than 63,000m2 and a workforce of more than 5,600 employees.
The management information of each of the company's areas (Human Resources, Sales, Logistics, Expansion ...) was found in watertight applicative and there was no analytical solution that would allow all the company's information to be jointly evaluated to promote a knowledge-based decision making.

The solution
Izertis presented to Uvesco a gradual project, so that the information from the different areas was incorporated into the analytical environment in different phases.
It started with the development of a Human Resources dashboard that integrated: information on personnel costs, staff, absenteeism, training ...
This dashboard was followed by other charts that presented information on sales (including lines of cash receipts), logistics (warehouses, assortments ...), expansion, etc.
In addition, dashboards were developed for the company's management that represented, through aggregated information at a high level on computers and mobile devices.
The result
The development of dashboards allowed Uvesco to improve knowledge-based decision making. The implementation of certain measures in the Human Resources area, such as the offer of vacancies based on the distance to the home of its employees, the evaluation of possible locations before the opening of a new supermarket or the assortment optimizer exemplify how the implementation of an analytical environment has benefited Uvesco.
The democratization of data among Uvesco employees and savings in data analysis and reporting tasks has been another of the project's notable advantages.
