Izertis brings "a new investment landscape in the technology sector" in Mexico as CAMESCOM partner
"A very large market with great investment opportunities". This is one of the great attractions Mexico offers Spanish companies. Izertis has been established in the country since 2014, with offices in Guadalajara and Mexico City, where around fifty professionals work. Mexico is the main hub of operations of the multinational technology company for LATAM and the USA and, for this reason, it has just taken a step forward in strengthening its commercial ties in that market by becoming a partner of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico -CAMESCOM-.
CAMESCOM assures that the incorporation of the company "means for the Chamber one more opportunity for the diversification of our business community". The integration of Izertis brings a new investment landscape to the technology sector and confirms to us that this industry continues to have a major impact on business process innovation. He adds that the company can contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem present in the Chamber "knowledge and best practices through its active participation and attendance at our national actions, but, above all, its passion for building a better present through technology"
For his part, the commercial and marketing director of Izertis Mexico, Eduardo Vivar, highlighted the relevance of CAMESCOM "as a unique opportunity to position Izertis in the Mexican market and establish valuable connections within the business community".
Spain is among the top four countries in the investment ranking
With regard to Mexico, CAMESCOM highlights, among its main attractions, "a very large market with great investment opportunities". Mexico is a country with which Spain is historically linked. This makes it easier for new investments and those already here to continue to strengthen.
According to data provided by the Chamber, Spain's greatest activity in Mexico is concentrated in five states: Mexico City, with 35%; Nuevo León, with 10%; and Baja California, State of Mexico and Jalisco, with 5% each. They also highlight that these five entities together "account for 60% of the total FDI received". Moreover, in the rest of the states, Spain is among the top four countries in the investment ranking.
The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico -CAMESCOM- is chaired by Antonio Basagoiti and has an honorary president in the person of Juan Duarte Cuadrado. It currently has 576 active members from various sectors, predominantly energy, infrastructure, financial services, technology and tourism. Last year it registered 129 new members, and as of last April another 42 members, including Izertis, had joined.
