Izertis partners with Aeromedia to enhance its services based on drones and Artificial Intelligence
Our company has closed a collaboration agreement with Aeromedia, a leading company in drone-based services. This partnership aims to combine the technical capabilities of Aeromedia with the experience of our company in the development of Artificial Intelligence applications, which will allow both companies to improve their position in a market with an estimated value of 50,000 million in the USA and Europe, as stated by the consulting firm BCG.
Aeromedia has a strong presence in the industrial sector, working with clients such as Repsol, Iberdrola, Dragados or Acciona, performing supervision and prevention tasks with the aim of predicting breakdowns and reducing costs. Its forestry division, in addition to inventory work, is specialized in firefighting support tasks. In the audiovisual section, it has worked in numerous productions for companies such as Netflix, HBO, Prime Video, TVE or Atresmedia.
For its part, our firm accumulates extensive experience in the development of image analysis applications with Artificial Vision and Artificial Intelligence technologies. Its work includes projects in the food and agriculture sector, for example, to detect the phenotyping of plants from images of plantation areas; in the energy sector, where their solutions can quantify the progress of the works based on the analysis of photographs; or the industrial sector, where its artificial intelligence solutions on aerial images facilitate maintenance tasks.
For Carlos de la Rocha, Project Manager of Aeromedia, “this agreement allows us to have a first-rate technological partner that enables us to add Vision and Artificial Intelligence solutions to the images captured by our drones, offering a turnkey service to our customers".
For his part, for David Cabañeros, Lead of Computer Vision Extended Reality at Izertis, “the resulting synergies will make it easier for us to combine the technical capabilities of Aeromedia with our experience in developing solutions based on Vision Intelligence, to offer integral solutions to our clients”.
