Izertis acquires Keifi to expand its presence in the financial sector
The company Izertis has announced the incorporation of Keifi, a company specialising in technological services for the financial sector. This agreement allows the BME Growth listed company to multiply its operational and commercial capacity in a market with a high demand for innovative solutions with high added value.
Its integration brings together more than 110 employees, distributed among its offices in Spain, EEUU and Colombia
Keifi is a consultancy firm focused on the development of technological solutions in the field of capital markets (brokerage, settlement and custody), financial asset distribution platforms and digital transformation projects. In addition, it covers technology, business, operational, distribution channels, financial products and regulatory requirements.
Its integration brings together more than 110 employees, distributed among its offices in Spain, the United States and Colombia, with extensive experience in digital transformation, big data, cloud, UX/UI, mobility and native applications, and in the development and implementation of innovation solutions in the financial sector.
With this move, Izertis continues to strengthen its growth in line with the route set out in its 2027 plan, which aims to reach 250 million in revenues with a normalised ebitda of 33 million.
Among the main suppliers in the sector
"Our intention is also to be able to position ourselves among a small number of leading players"
Projects related to the banking and insurance sectors have been gradually increasing in the company in recent years and, in the words of its chairman, Pablo Martín, "the intention is to maximise our capacity in these specialities in which the market is increasingly demanding more complex and innovative services and products".
"We believe that we can provide a response at the level of today's large multinationals and, with the integration of Keifi, our intention is also to be able to position ourselves among a small number of leading players in the national financial, banking and insurance sector," emphasises the president.
From Keifi, its founders Francisco Margarite, Fernando Pastor and Javier Vera believe that "it is a magnificent opportunity to consolidate the work done together with our team over the last 5 years in a large business group, which shares the DNA of commitment, experience and innovation, which is the engine that has positioned us as an excellent ally of our customers".
Growth
The technology consultancy's expansion has been coping with high growth rates, supported by inorganic acquisitions. This year, Keifi would be the third integration in the company, following the acquisitions of Autentia, which specialises in software engineering, and Techsociety, which focuses on the combination of hardware engineering and digital products.
According to the Spanish Consultancy Association (AEC), the annual revenue growth forecast for the consultancy sector in Spain stands at 7.65%, while Izertis has grown by 45% (59.9 million euros) in the first half of 2023, almost 6 times higher than the sector. In terms of normalised ebitda, the increase compared to the first half of 2022 was 64% to EUR 9.0 million.
