Izertis, a key player in the implementation of DORA at Azvalor, which achieves the first Certification of the Regulation at the European level

Azvalor has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the first certification based on a proprietary scheme developed in Bureau Veritas Spain for compliance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 of 14 December on the digital operational resilience of the financial sector (DORA Regulation - Digital Operational Resilience Act) issued by Bureau Veritas at European level. And Izertis has been a key player in the process. This certification confirms that Azvalor's information system has been audited and is fully compliant with the requirements of the Financial Sector Digital Operational Resilience Regulation.

Izertis has been an essential part of this milestone, as the management company has had the specialised support of both the technology consultancy and the firm finReg360 during the process of adapting to this demanding regulation, each of them contributing their experience, both in the financial regulatory field and in cybersecurity.

The DORA Regulation aims to strengthen the digital operational resilience of the European financial sector by establishing a common regulatory framework for the management of information and communication technology (ICT) related risks.

This regulation focuses on ensuring that financial institutions can withstand, respond to and recover from incidents, thereby guaranteeing the stability of the financial system and the protection of users. DORA also promotes cooperation and information sharing between supervisory authorities and financial institutions to strengthen cybersecurity in this sector.

Mónica Botas, director of Certification at Bureau Veritas Spain & Portugal, said "We are very pleased to award Azvalor the first certification based on compliance with DORA regulations in Europe This achievement demonstrates Azvalor's commitment to operational excellence and digital security Its dedication to meeting DORA's rigorous standards sets a new benchmark in the financial sector and reinforces investor confidence in its ability to manage technology risks"
.
The achievement of this certification, which joins the ISO27001 certification already obtained by Azvalor, is a formal and external recognition that its operating platform and information security management system meet the highest international standards.
