Design of blockchain architecture to improve communication with citizens
The project
The commitment to innovation in the Bizkaia Public Administration led them to focus on blockchain technology in order to achieve an effective common link in the exchange of information by citizens, companies and government. A tool was sought to increase the privacy and confidentiality of information, to optimize user identification, to ensure its modular configuration and scalability, and to allow advanced monitoring

The solution
Designing a complete, fully independent architecture of both the operating system and the hardware components on which it would be implemented. For the execution of the project, we were based on Hyperlegded, a set of Open Source projects , which allowed us to design a complete framework with a consensus mechanism that would ensure transparency for users and that would allow their management and control.
The result
The project was a success. A free blockchain platform has been created for all Public Administration users (citizens, companies and government) under the same technological environment. Now the government of Bizkaia can deploy their own projects using the platform, ensuring agility, security and traceability.
