Izertis, featured at the 2023 Data Forum on digitalisation and modernization of justice

We participated in the Data Forum 2023, an annual event on data, technology and digitisation in the fields of Justice and Law held in Gijón from 14 to 16 June, where half a hundred events were held, and 80 speakers met to discuss the possibilities of exploiting the data culture in the judicial environment.

Data Forum aims to offer a new vision on data processing and associated techniques from a legal, humanistic, and technical point of view, which will allow us to move towards a more responsible and efficient society.

Topics such as the technological challenge of public services, the use of artificial intelligence or data governance, among others, will be addressed

During this event, known for being the benchmark for the administration of justice and the most recognised companies for their technological knowledge, we have participated through Sheila Méndez, our Digital Director, whose interview dealt with artificial intelligence in data governance, as well as our colleague Juan Luis García, Lead of Cybersecurity Business Development at Sidertia by Izertis, who spoke about attacks and cybersecurity, and how to solve them in an adaptive way.

The Data Forum 2023 brings together a multitude of events including round tables, colloquiums, conferences, workshops, etc., where topics such as the technological challenge of public services, the use of artificial intelligence or data governance, among others, will be addressed.

The programme will end with the award ceremony of the Datathon, a competition organised by the official associations of Computer Engineers and Computer Engineering graduates of Asturias.

This forum, which has been organised by the Ministry of Justice together with the Principality of Asturias, with the collaboration of the University of Oviedo and Laboral Ciudad de Cultura, brings together a group of experts to reflect on digitalisation, humanism, and the culture of data in the fields of justice and law.
