During his career path of more than 36 years, he has held top-level executive positions in prestigious companies in the B2B technological sector with registered offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe and Asia. Amongst other positions, he held the post of Executive Vice-president and Head of Sales and Global Services Operations at Citrix, the Vice-president and CEO at Hewlett Packard, COO at Orange Business Services and CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Avaya.

In his various leadership posts, he has successfully developed and implemented strategic growth and profitability plans both for large multinational companies and in a multicultural environment as well as with small companies at a local level.

At present Carlos Sartorius Witte is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the German Prospitalia Group, a supplier of products and services to institutions in the medical sector (hospitals, pharmacies and centres specialised in medical care) and since November 2021 he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the US company Sycurio Ltd., a technology company geared towards data security and compliance solutions.
