The project
We intends to put in contact any doctor with any patient regardless of their geographical location. For this they need to create a virtual polyclinic that was more than traditional teleconsultation, becoming necessary to integrate the virtual medical history, to put in contact doctors and patients in a flexible and intuitive way, to integrate the use of IoT devices to monitor and control patients, to issue prescriptions and to ensure health data protection.

The solution
In order to put into operation the virtual polyclinic of We Doctor, it was proposed and developed a platform where doctors have a virtual schedule for meetings management, control of the medical history of each patient, the management to issue electronic prescriptions and a system of video consultations between doctors and between doctors and patients. The proposed platform has one access for patients and another for doctors and includes a management for medical consultations payments.

In addition, this platform was enabled to create clinical decision support systems, assistance chatbots and cognitive services as well as its integration with IoT and wearable devices to monitor chronic patients, the analytical data and its adaptation to different medical specialties and other professionals such as psychologists or nutritionists.

To improve the quality of health care We Doctor Doctor has now a platform where doctors can perform their consultation and management anywhere and patients may have health services 24 hours without having to go to hospitals or even to other countries to request a second medical appointment.
